November Astronomy Night: Sky Maps

What are the sky maps? How is it drawn and read? How can we recognize the celestial bodies through it? We will apply this on the autumn sky of Alexandria and know is most prominent constellations: Cassiopeia, Pegasus, Andromeda, and the Summer Triangle before its disappearance. Also, there will be lunar observation conducted through the telescope for the moon’s surface and its Meteorite crater.

Program:
1) A lecture conducted by Eng. Essam Goda, coordinator for the Egyptian Society for Astronomy and the member of the Arab Union for Aerospace Sciences and Astronomy
2) A virtual space tour, presented through the Planetarium projectors
3) Observation through the telescope at the BA plaza
