Egypt Science and Engineering Fair (ESEF)
30 March 2008

The International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the premiere science competition in the world exclusively for students 14-18 years of age. Intel ISEF recognizes the urgency of promoting achievement in science, and encourages innovation and creativity; it annually provides a forum for more than 1,500 high school students from over 40 countries to showcase their independent research. Each year, millions of students worldwide compete in Intel ISEF-affiliated regional and state fairs from which the best win the opportunity to attend the Intel ISEF. The Intel ISEF unites these top young scientific minds, enabling them to submit their work to judging by doctoral level scientists—and providing the opportunity to compete for nearly 4 million USD in prizes and scholarships.

This year, the BA hosts the ESEF (Egypt Science and Engineering Fair) on 30 March 2008, which was organized to prepare students for similar opportunities of participation, competing, and winning.
