The Alexandria Diving Club is organizing the 10th “Dive for the Earth Day” in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Alexandria Cosmopolitan and the Planetarium Science Center at the Library of Alexandria within the framework of the Science Festivity 2010 under the overarching theme of “Water”.

 


“Dive for the Earth Day” is an international event that promotes the active conservation of coral reefs, oceans, and aquatic ecosystems, and raises public awareness of the importance of marine conservation.

 

Thousands of divers and marine enthusiasts all over the world are celebrating this day with a splash. Marine environmental groups are teaming up with the scuba diving industry, divers, snorkelers and other aquatic enthusiasts, to gear-up and dive-in on Earth Day.
