The Egyptian Chess Federation, in collaboration with the Planetarium Science Center, organized the National Youth Chess Competition, which targeted age groups 8, 10, 12 and 14 years, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, 12-19 June 2011. National Zones represented in the Egyptian Chess Federation participated in the competition, in addition to last year’s leading national competitors as well as leading international competitors.
The PSC Chess Club team got the following awards;
- Adham Fawzy: First Place Award in boys under 12 years category,
- Maha Sameh: Third Place Award in girls under 12 years category,
- Sarah Adel: First Place Award in girls under 8 years category,
- Amir Kassab: Forth Place Award in boys 8 years category,
- Aya Moataz: Third Place Award in girls under 14 years category.
