Due to the current circumstances in Egypt, and with the approach of the Egyptian parliamentary elections, which will overlap with the dates of the WIS 2011 conference that was due to be held at the Library of Alexandria on 3–4 December 2011, the Library of Alexandria has decided to postpone the conference to a later date when the situation is more settled and the conference has the attendance and coverage it deserves.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change of dates may have caused and we will update you with the new dates for the conference as soon as they are decided.
