Euro-Mediterranean and Middle East Summer School for Science Communication (EMME)
17 June 2013
The Euro-Mediterranean and Middle East Summer School for Science Communication (EMME) is the first major collaboration between NAMES—the North Africa and Middle East Science centers network—and Ecsite—The European Network of Science Centres and Museums.

EMME's principal scope is to support the development of science communication projects and the establishment of new ones in the region.

Future leaders in science centers or any other organization working for the public engagement in science should have the competencies to run such organizations, looking at the impact on the local communities, taking into consideration the framework of public policies and in collaboration with private and public stakeholders.

With the goal of reinforcing capacities, strengthening dialogue and exchange, and increasing the community of players in the region, EMME aims to give professional skills and expertise for the management of science centers and museums and related activities.

If you are seriously involved in science communication, do not miss this valuable opportunity of development and networking by participating in the School's 1st edition, which will take place 22-27 September 2013, at Parque de las Ciencias, Granada, Spain. The final deadline for registration is 7 July 2013, please register at: http://emme.parqueciencias.com/candidatureForm/; click here for the tentative program.
