Abstract:
SNV Ghana (Tamale) and SNV Burkina Faso (Ouagadougou) jointly provided advisory support to the ECOWAS/FAO Onchocerciasis Freed Zone Project to pilot cross-border, negotiated and consensus based planning for the development of the Onchocerciasis Freed Zone in the White Volta basin across the border of Burkina Faso and Ghana. This briefing highlights the experiences in linking communities and institutions, and lessons
learnt.
