Abstract:
Three years after its adoption, regulation 689/2008/EC, implementing the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade at EU level is being recast. This short paper explains WECF's position on this matter.
