I am a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Community and Public Health- Birzeit University in the West Bank. Epidemiology of DM and its associated factors is one of the most interesting research topics for me. In my opinion DM poses a major threat to public health especially in developing countries which lack adequate resources to prevent DM and provide treatment for its patients.
