The Peer Education Approach, as promoted by the University of Zimbabwe Project Support Group, has been appreciated by several institutions.

It seems that peer education projects which invest in the energy and voluntarism of people can achieve high levels of efficiency and coverage which are associated with reported sexual behavior change and in some cases with decline in STD cases.
