This hour of the course will focus on lifestyle factors and how healthy habits can decrease risk of chronic disease. Because some 60% of chronic diseases are considered preventable, the information you are about to see really is the theoretical basis of health promotion. Practicing healthy habits is one of the best strategies you or your family members can use to stay healthy longer and to enhance the quality of your lives.

- Describe prevention programs to target lifestyle modifications.
