This publication contains a distinguished collection of Persian single folios produced from the 16th to the 19th century CE.

These folios were written in Arabic and Persian, and in different forms and styles of scripts. They include Sayyid Mir 'Imad al-Hasani Al Husseini (d.1615) in his fine Nasta'liq style; Dervish Abdul Majid Taliqani in his shikasteh style; and from the Atelier of Shah Tahmasp, examples of Shah Mahmud Nishapuri (d.1564). The beauty and delicacy of the scripts are highlighted in numerous folios with stamped seals and signatures, making this collection one of historical importance, shedding more light onto the development of Persian calligraphy.
