What You DO NOT Know about Hurricanes and Climate Change
Within the framework of Simplified Science Program, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) and TWAS-ARO organized a lecture entitled "What You Do Not Know about Hurricanes and Climate Change".
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hesham M. El-Askary, Professor of Remote Sensing and Earth System Science, Center of Excellence in Earth Systems Modeling and Observations and Director Graduate Programs in Computational and Data Sciences at Schmid College of Science and Technology,Chapman University, United States of America, on Saturday, 7 October 2017; 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Lecture Hall.

In this lecture, Dr. El-Askary answered the simple questions of what is a hurricane, and how does it form and whether or not countries as Egypt and other countries in the Middle East and North Africa region will ever be affected by a hurricane?
