Science Policy and Ethics

Scientific discovery and creativity is the capacity to imagine, conceptualize, persist, and develop innovative and unprecedented products. Inventions, based on scientific creativity, laid the foundation for human development in several domains. These inventions were not the products of modern time, but they are as old as the history of humankind; beginning with inventing tools for fire making, hunting, and cultivation.

With the dissemination of knowledge and science, the culture of scientific creativity has been fostered. Nevertheless, strict technical and ethical measures have been set for it; not to derail the creativity process, but to carry it forward. As important as these measures are for the survival of humankind, they help sustain the survival and existence of other creatures on Earth. In this context, we tackle in this theme vital science and ethics issues, and we wish you a pleasant and useful reading!
