Engy  Fahmy

Reference and Instruction Librarian, Library of the American University in Cairo


Biography:

Engy Fahmy is a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the American University in Cairo. She teaches the Libraries and Learning Technologies information literacy class for undergraduates. She has created the new information literacy Online Independent Study and has been teaching it for the last two semesters. Before coming to the AUC, Engy has worked on a wide variety of projects in both, special and public libraries. She served as information architect at the Microsoft Library in Redmond and has also been a Reference and Instruction librarian at King County Library System in Kirkland. She holds a Masters of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington.
