Each year, each of the five TWAS Regional Partners selects up to five brilliant early-career scientists under the age of 40 to become a TWAS Young Affiliate for six years. These young scientists join a growing network of the developing world’s most promising scientists. They also receive further opportunities to interact and learn from TWAS Fellows.
During their tenure, Affiliates will be able to participate in a large number of opportunities, such as participating in various events organized by the Arab regional partner of the World Academy of Sciences for Developing Countries (TWAS-AREP) and other events affiliated with the World Academy of Sciences for Developing Countries (TWAS).
- The call is open for brilliant early-career Arab scientists under the age of 40 to become a TWAS Young Affiliate for six years.
- The call is open to scientists from all Arab countries.
- Women scientists are particularly encouraged to apply.
