Biography:

Mr Jamel JEBALI is a Associate-Professor of Biochemistry at High Institute of Biotechnology of Monastir (Tunisia) and a member of Research Unit of Biochemistry and Environmental Toxicology (UR 04AGR05), at the High Institute of Agriculture of Chott-Mariem (Tunisia). The research activities within the scope of “Environmental biochemistry” and focused on the development of sensitive ecotoxicological tools for assessing the biological impact of chemicals in aquatic ecosystem. Several measured biochemical parameters were linked to environmental contamination and provide additional information about their toxicity. The analysis of a suite of biochemical parameters coupled with chemical analyses of priority pollutants provide comprehensive indications of organism health.
