Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Editorial Policy Committee (EPC) Meeting 139

Meeting 139 of the Decimal Classification Editorial Policy Committee (EPC) was held in Dublin, Ohio, at the Online Computer Library  Center (OCLC) Headquarters, 6–7 June  2016. The meetingapproved exhibits that provide for or enhance the treatment of many topics, and discussed major proposed enhancements concerning Groups of People in Tables 1 and 2.

Mary Sauer–Games, OCLC Vice President, Global Product Management, addressed the group, summarizing several areas of OCLC focus in fiscal year 2016 resulting in improved technology environments and infrastructure  including the increased emphasis of what can be accomplished with linked data.
