BioVisionAlexandria (BVA) 2016
Bibliotheca Alexandrina organized its eighth International Biennial Conference, BioVisionAlexandria (BVA) 2016, 12-14 April 2016, Alexandria, Egypt in partnership with World Life Science Forum, BV Lyon.

Today, innovation in science and technology is moving fast and in diverse directions. One research carries hopes and benefits, while another brings along risks and dangers. Today, we need to emphasize the potentials of research and science, and discuss the ethical responsibilities of research management and their outcome. Together, we delved into the road ahead to perceive the opportunities, benefits, and controversial threats it hides for us. Together, we will use research and science for the benefit of our world as well as discover solutions for the challenges and obstacles we may face.

The theme of BVA 2016 was New Life Sciences: "The Road Ahead" where we will be exploring the way ahead to make the best out of scientific research and innovation with minimal pitfalls possible.

As usual, we aimed at gathering distinguished Nobel Laureates, leaders in science, industry, society, policy-making, media and civil society to explore the different ways in which life sciences can help meet the challenges facing us now.
