"Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development" Lecture
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) organized a lecture titled "Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development" on Tuesday, 22 December 2015.

The lecture covered various types of renewable energy systems, the performance of existing systems, the impact of renewable energy on power grids, the societal and environmental impacts of renewable systems, and research and entrepreneurship opportunities.

The lecture was given by Professor Mohamed A. El-Sharkawi, Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, USA. The lecture was part of the Visiting Scholar Program (VSP).
