The lecture will be held on Tuesday, 10 March 2020, 1:00 pm, at 1:00 pm in the Auditorium. The lecture will be given by Prof. Sobhi Ashour, Professor of Greco-Roman Art and Archaeology, Department of Archaeology and Culture, Faculty of Arts, Helwan University.
The lecture will discuss monuments of different categories that belong to a specific cultural and archaeological context. Interpreting these objects tells many stories about their users and their lifestyle. Written documents usually provide direct evidence on public or private affairs, with richly detailed administrative or literary subjects.
