The BA Center for Strategic Studies organized a course entitled “Writing Policy Papers: General and Foreign Policies”. Participants included Dr. Noha Bakr, Professor of Political Sciences at the American University in Cairo, Ms. Radwa Abu Shady, Economic Researcher at the General Authority for Investment, and a number of political science graduates and young researchers.
The course was held online, in keeping with the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and is part of several events organized by the Center to train qualified young people in political writing and decision-making. This course is the first in a series of training courses and roundtable discussions recently launched by the Center for Strategic Studies.
Before launching the course, participants presented different research proposals on topics that included international policy, Egyptian foreign policy, as well as general policy that comprise the fields of healthcare, education, and economy. The course aimed at developing the aforementioned proposals into comprehensive policy papers, in alignment with the established rules of policy papers writing.
