BA Hosts IFLA-AFLI Second Regional Conference Inauguration

The BA hosted the inauguration ceremony of the IFLA-AFLI Second Regional Conference on 8 June 2015. The BA is organizing the conference in collaboration with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the Arab Federation For Libraries and Information (AFLI) on 8–9 June 2015.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the BA; Dr. Khaled El-Halaby, President of AFLI; Mr. Andrew Macdonald, IFLA Chief Executive Officer; Ambassador Abdel Raouf El-Reedy, a representative of the Ministry of Culture; and Dina Youssef, Director of the IFLA Center for Arabic Speaking Libraries (IFLA-CASL).
