Minister of Education Sends the FIRST-LEGO League (FLL) Winner to the USA

Alexandria— Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, Minister of Education, agreed to send the winner team in the FIRST-LEGO League (FLL) to participate in the international competition held in the Georgia, USA, during the period from 17-19 April 2008.
It is worth mentioning that Techno Future from Alexandria was the first winner team, the 2nd team (Cairo Manara Language School for Girls), and the 3rd team Al Fursan (Al-Asdaa Hearing-Impaired Association) participating in the competition under the auspices of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.
The BA had organized for the third year successively the FIRST-LEGO League (FLL), 17-18 February 2008, an international hands-on, sport-like, robotics program for children 9-14 years of age. Fourteen teams from different Egyptian governorates; Alexandria, Asyut, Cairo, Ismailia, and Mansura participated in the competition.
