BA Big Read: Competitions about Michael Ende’s novel Momo

Posted on

As part of its Big Read program, which is for those who are above 16 years old, the BA is organizing several competitions revolving around German writer Michael Ende’s novel Momo. There is an essay writing competition in Arabic, English, and German; a painting competition; and a photography competition. The competitions will last throughout the summer until the results are announced on 30 September 2016.

Numerous activities related to the novel will also be held, including discussions, guided tours, and a “Think and Express” workshop for hearing and speech impaired individuals. A playwriting workshop will also be organized in collaboration with the Theater Department of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, and the BA Arts Center, through which participants will transform the novel into a script to be performed and directed by amateurs during the closing ceremony.
