BA Organizes “More than Marketing” Exhibition

In collaboration with the Swedish Institute, the BA is going to inaugurate the “More than Marketing: Communicating the Swedish and Egyptian Way” Exhibition on Monday, 19 December 2016 at 5:00 pm.

The exhibition showcases samples of commercial advertisements from two different regions in the world. Although the advertising industry is part and parcel of the world of international commerce, it has some local characteristics. Even though the most common form of advertising aims to increase consumerism, governmental institutions employ advertising agencies to either disseminate information or form public opinion. Thus, advertising must be taken seriously as its constant presence affects our vision and perception of the world.

Anna Maria Bernitz, the project manager at the Swedish Institute in Stockholm, will give a lecture on publicity and advertising on Tuesday, 20 December 2016 at 1:00 pm, Multipurpose Hall, BA Conference Center (BACC).

The exhibition will be held at the BACC West Exhibition Hall until Saturday, 21 January 2017.
