“Dual Vision” Exhibition

The BA is going to inaugurate the “Dual Vision” Exhibition on Tuesday, 7 November 2017 at 3:00 pm. The exhibition will showcase the artworks of Abdel Moneim Moawad and Mohamed Shaker and their photography experiences throughout their creative journeys.

Abdel Moneim Moawad was born in 1947. He is currently a design professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts. He also assumed several prominent positions, including Egyptian cultural advisor in Italy, a board member and cultural advisor at Sinai University, an artistic advisor to the Minister of Housing, and an artistic advisor at the Development Fund affiliated with the Egyptian Cabinet. He held several solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad.

Mohamed Shaker was born in 1947. He is a painting professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria and was a member in a number of associations, unions, and artistic and cultural clubs in Egypt and abroad. He contributed to artistic projects that revolved around architecture, and he has also participated in various group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad since 1970.

The exhibition will be held at the BACC West Exhibition Hall and will be open to the public daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm until Saturday, 18 November 2017. Fridays are off, and opening hours will be from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm on Saturdays and official holidays.
