The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med) issued the Arabic version of the book Ancient Alexandria for young people. The book is written by Dr. Carol Escoffey, Professor of French at the Faculty of Education, Alexandria University, and Senior Editor at the Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center.

The book was first published in English in 2012, followed by the Arabic version, which is translated by Ms. Ghada El-Bahy. The French version will be published soon, with an aim to make the book accessible to young people across Egypt.

Ancient Alexandria tackles the Greco-Roman period of Alexandria, presented in a simple, illustrative manner, to encourage children and young people to read and learn.
