“The Arabic Language from Letters and Inscriptions to Digital Publishing” in a Seminar at the BA

As part of the World Arabic Language Day celebrations, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Media and Communication Department organizes a seminar entitled “The Memory of the Arabic Language: From Letters and Inscriptions to Digital Publishing”. A host of Arabic language professors from the BA and different Egyptian universities will take part in the seminar, which is held on Tuesday, 17 December 2019, at 10:00 am.

The seminar includes three sessions that tackle several aspects such as Arabic language and identity, Arabic poetry, and the typing of Arabic calligraphy. It will also feature the BA project of digitizing documents, manuscripts, and rare books.
