Renewing the Religious Discourse… A New Book Published by the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina published a new book entitled Renewing the Religious Discourse: An Imperative Need. It comprises various theses written by a host of religious and cultural scholars, who attempted to put forward a concept for renewing the religious discourse, as well as upholding the importance of religious moderation.
In his foreword, Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, states that the case of renewing the religious discourse is no longer a luxury that can be overlooked or postponed, but rather a necessity that should be granted appropriate attention.
Additionally, the book stresses the fact that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was right when he focused on the case of renewing the religious discourse as an important method to combat extremism and terrorism. It also demonstrates the BA's ceaseless efforts to disseminate moderate religious views that are reflected in all its events and publications.
