A Lecture on Archaeology and Experimentation at the BA

Posted on

As part of the 10th season of Alexandria Project's cultural season, the BA Library Sector organizes a lecture titled "Archaeology and Experimentation: Contexts and Applications", delivered by Dr. Basma Khalil, Lecturer at the Faculty of Archaeology and Languages, Matrouh University.

The lecture is held on Wednesday, 6 July 2022, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.

The lecture tackles the experimental method – one of the most important research approaches used in the study of archaeology. This method allows researchers to detect the remains that represent Man’s tangible cultural heritage. It also opens up new prospects that enrich their view of ancient societies, and helps them understand and explain human behavior.
