The BA Writing and Scripts Center organizes an ancient Greek language course (level I), from 31 October 2022 to 23 November 2022, delivered by Ms. Rana El-Zalabany, researcher at the Center.

Level I targets archaeology and tour guiding students, together with researchers and those with general interest in the field. It starts with teaching students the ancient Greek alphabet and the basic rules of understanding the sentence structure of the language, followed by a training on the translation of simple texts. The course will also review several samples of inscriptions and papyri written in ancient Greek, as students will be trained to read and translate these types of texts.

The course runs every Monday and Wednesday, from 31 October to 23 November; 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, in the BA Main Building, third floor (F3) Floating Room.

To participate in the course, please head to the Cashier Section, B2 level, BA Main Building.
