The Planetarium Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a seminar on smoking and its effects on human health, organized by Al Salama Health Education Center.
Professor Mohamed El-Sayed Rashed, Director of Al Salama Medical Center will shed light on international statistics regarding smoking, health and economy in a lecture entitled: "Smoking: Numbers and Facts"
Following the first lecture, Professor Ahmed Abdel-Atty, Professor of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, will talk more about the harmful effect of tobacco on the heart in a lecture entitled "Smoking is the Enemy of Arteries".
