The Planetarium Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a videoconference entitled “Rocket Science”.

This videoconference demonstrates real world applications of math and science principles as applied to rockets, showing the importance of studying graphing, problem-solving using fractions and decimals, scientific notation, trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and vectors.

Other topics demonstrated include Newton's Laws of Motion, forces, moments, the center of gravity, and the basic thermodynamics principles of energy, work and power.
