Visit of the British Minister of State for Industry and Energy

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director General of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, received Mr. Brian Wilson, the British Minister of State for Industry and Energy, the British Ambassador and the British Consul-General in Alexandria.
Dr. Serageldin delivered a detailed presentation on the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which was followed by a tour in the Library where they visited the Main Reading Hall, the Planetarium and the Manuscripts Museum.
They were also shown around the current works, which are taking place in the Library in preparation for the Official Inauguration Ceremony.
