The BA Announces the Winners of the Research Grants 2007/2008

Alexandria— The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) is organizing for the fourth time the Research Grants Day on Thursday, 23 October 2008, where the announcement of the top listed candidates of the Research Grants 2007/2008 will take place.

The celebration will be start by a presentation by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, followed by a presentation by Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the CSSP and will be concluded with the announcement of the top listed candidates for the BA/CSSP Research Grants 2007/2008.

Started in February 2004, the Research Grants Program covers different branches of sciences, such as: Agricultural Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering Sciences and Technologies, Information Technology, Physics and Astronomy.

It is worth mentioning that the BA started this initiative as a step on the path of scientific and research progress, paving the way for distinguished researchers to transform their theoretical research work to reality. The CSSP funds the winning research papers, within the framework of a financial strategy, adopted by the BA.
