The Fourth Science Festivity at the BA

Posted on

The BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) is organizing the Fourth Science Festivity from 31 March to 2 April 2010.

The overarching theme of the Science Festivity 2010 is “Water” responding to the increasing demand for water necessary for agricultural and industrial development, in addition to the population growth, which pose the most pressing challenge for Egypt on the national and regional levels.

The Science Festivity is a huge public event that gives science a presence in the community and offers people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to question, discuss, and explore. Visitors of the "Science Village" will experience the pleasure of lifelong learning by participating in the various activities offered; whether with family, friends, or on their own.

The hub of the Science Festivity is the "Science Village", which hosts a large diversity of hands-on and interactive exhibits, in addition to the always intriguing Super Science Show. This year, visitors of the Science Village will also get the chance to attend lectures and presentations, as well as “Science Cafés” at the same location.

The "Science Village" will be held at the BA Plaza from 31 March to 2 April 2010, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm; and at the Antoniadis Gardens on 2 April, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
