“Art Salon: Black and White” Exhibition

Posted on

The BA Arts Center holds the Second Round of “Art Salon: Black and White” exhibition for Egyptian contemporary art, including works by 100 artists from various generations and art schools, from 24 August to 14 September 2010.

The Salon proposes the issue of erasing boundaries between painting and other forms of art in a time when different artistic genres were blinded together due to the dominance of science and technology. The Exhibition explores the possibility of considering criteria to categorize different art forms including painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, among others. It also examines waves of challenging these criteria, taking into account that the overlap between different genres has become a fact. This leaves the chance for seeking new definitions for the art of painting.

The Exhibition is open for public for free at the BACC East Exhibitions Hall.
