Call for Hassan Fathi Award for Architecture 2011

The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center, in collaboration with the Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council for Culture, announces the third round of Hassan Fathi Award for Architectural 2011, in an aim to promote contemporary Egyptian architecture, and to honor Egyptian architects.
The theme of this round is “Architectural Creativity of Young Egyptian Architects”, introducing the thoughts and ideas of young architects, and allowing them to present their projects.
Deadline for designs submission is Thursday, 20 October 2011.
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 29 November 2011, as part of a seminar on sustainable and green architecture at the BA. Researchers are encouraged to participate in the seminar and submit their papers no later than Saturday, 1 October 2011.
