The Fifth Edition of Plaza Project at the BA

The BA Arts Center announces the fifth edition of Plaza Project, an annual fund to produce short feature films by young Egyptian filmmakers.
The first two editions were limited to the BA plaza as a location, whereas the third edition commemorated Egypt’s Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz through films inspired by his latest book.
Since the fourth edition, the Plaza Project started to focus on its main aim, having the streets of Alexandria as the theme for each edition.
This round revolves around Manshiya Square, under the supervision of Film Critic Essam Zakareya.
Deadline for receiving applications is 31 December 2012, and results will be announced by the end of January 2013.
