Agenda Exhibition 2020 – The 13th Round

The BA Exhibitions and Collections Department launches the 13th round of Agenda Exhibition (Meter x Meter: a Free Space for Creativity) on Wednesday, 12 February 2020, at 5:00 pm, in the BACC East and West Exhibition Halls.

The Agenda Exhibition, which is considered one of the most important art exhibitions in Egypt, was first launched in 2008 and was titled “50 cm Frame”. By the seventh exhibition, the name had been changed to the current title.

One hundred and fifty artists take part in this year’s round, and display their work that include painting, mosaic, sculpture, ceramic, printing, and photography. Participants come from eight Egyptian governorates: Cairo, Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr Elsheikh, Matrouh, Assiout, Minya, and Luxor.

Additionally, three late artists will be honored this year for their indelible contribution to the Egyptian and International art world: Swedish Artist Sergio Pira (1963 – 2019); Artist Khaled Sami (1968 – 2019); Artist Farouk Wahba (1942 – 2019).

The Exhibition continues until Tuesday, 25 February 2020; daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm; except Fridays and Saturdays, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
