Culturama Shows at Sinnari House

Posted on

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina organizes a number of Culturama shows entitled “Egypt… The Heritage and Civilization” throughout the month of August at Sinnari House in Cairo.

The shows chronicle Egypt’s history and civilization over 5000 years, highlighting the ancient Egyptian, Coptic, and Islamic heritage, and focusing on the achievements of the most prominent kings and rulers, in addition to giving a full description of the most significant ancient buildings and sites from the Coptic, Islamic, and modern periods.

The shows will feature a display of one of the oldest and most important expeditions in history: the expedition of the land of Punt, which was depicted by Queen Hatshepsut on the walls of her temple in el-Deir el-Bahari. They will also include a tour of El-Moez Street through virtual maps that demonstrate various remarkable archaeological sites.

The shows will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 9 to 24 August 2021, at 7:00 pm.
