“Her Story” Initiative at the BA

The Women’s Studies and Social Transformation Program at the BA organizes an event on “Her Story” initiative, in cooperation with UN Women and the office of the World Food Program in Egypt, and with the support of Global Affairs Canada. The event is held on Sunday, 9 December 2018, at 9:00 am in the BACC Small Theatre.
The initiative comes as part of the 16-day campaign organized by the Women’s Studies and Social Transformation Program to fight violence against women, which started on 25 November, and continues until 10 December 2018. It aims at disseminating knowledge on cases of gender equality, and shedding light on the lives of girls and women and their achievements in the Arab region.
