Special Events Celebrating the First Anniversary of Khadija Palace

The Khadija Palace in Helwan organized a number of special events to celebrate its first anniversary. The main reading area, which contains a large collection of books in different fields, was reopened. It encompasses several computers that are linked to the BA database, to cater for the needs of students and researchers. Additionally, the celebration included the ‘culturama’ opening in the Palace Great Hall, and a photo exhibition on the life of Princess Khadija, her family, as well as the most remarkable renaissance features in Egypt during that period.

A range of workshops on making foam kites, recycling, crochet, aquaculture were held as part of the celebration, together with the opening of the “Wonders of Science” theater, and the “Workshop” exhibition which comprises a series of BA workshops, as well as those that took place at Khadija Palace.

The celebration was concluded with a concert by Ali El-Helbawy, attended by 250 people.
