“Digital Egypt Builders” at the BA

Posted on

The BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized a series of guided tours for a distinct group of students from various Egyptian Faculties of Engineering and Faculties of Computer and Data Science, with an aim of introducing them to the modern technologies used in the preservation, digitization, and display of Egyptian heritage.

This activity comes as part of “Digital Egypt Builders” initiative, which was announced during President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s inauguration of a number of educational projects in September 2020. It also stems from the BA belief in the importance of achieving Egypt’s vision for the year 2030, which strives towards promoting education and helping Egyptians preserve their national identity.

The guided tours run throughout March at the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT) in the Smart Village, to accommodate the largest possible number of students participating in this initiative.
