An Evening of Spiritual Maqamat at Sinnari House

The BA Sinnari House, in association with Hewar Foundation for People’s Arts and Culture, organizes the eighth round of “Spiritual Maqamat Evenings”, which will take place from 30 March to 3 April 2023, at 9:00 pm.

The evenings will include folk songs and various musical segments, blending art and spirituality.

Samaa Group for Spiritual Chanting and Al-Hoor Band will perform at the opening ceremony. A concert by the harpist Manal Mohie Eldin and the Oriental Fingers Ensemble will be held on Friday, 31 March, while Saqi Religious Chanting Ensemble and Hassan Sharara and his band (Sudassy Sharara) will deliver their concerts on Saturday, 1 April, and Sunday, 2 April respectively. The evenings will be concluded with a concert by Resalet Salam Group, on Monday, 3 April.

The concerts are free of charge and held every year throughout the month of Ramadan, with the aim of celebrating this holy month, spreading culture, and preserving Egyptian heritage.
