The BA has launched the “Higher Education Funding Opportunities in the Arab Region” online directory, which is the outcome of a research project conducted by a group of young researchers in the BA Resource Development Department. The project was generously supported by the Ford Foundation Regional Office in Cairo. The purpose of the directory is to help students and higher education institutes learn about local and regional funders supporting higher education in 12 Arab countries. It also aims to provide an access point to funders allowing them to disseminate information about their activities, observe other funders’ activities, and, most importantly, pave the way for the creation of fruitful partnerships between them.
The project ended in 2013.
