On 11 September 2007, The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) organized a closing festivity to celebrate the end of the fourth ALEXploratorium Annual Summer Festival that started on 24 June 2007 and continued for 11 weeks.

The Summer Festival offers a variety of fun scientific activities for children 6 to 16 years of age.

The closing festivity aimed to assemble the children who participated, and their families, to celebrate their attendance and achievements in the various workshops, programs, lectures and fieldtrips that were organized during the summer. It also included a lecture about Ramadan’s Crescent and a videoconference with NASA entitled “Space Environment”.
At the end of the celebration, the participants were praised for their valuable participation and efforts, as well as the volunteers who helped the PSC staff members all through the summer.
