Cairo Science Festival 2011

The AUC will organize Cairo Science Festival from 2 – 21 May 2011. The PSC will participate in this upcoming event by an exhibition called “From Earth to Universe” from 15 – 19 May 2011.
 

The Cairo Science Festival is a public celebration of science and technology in recognition of their vital role in our everyday lives. This year’s festival, hosted by the AUC, includes many activities such as dialogues with Nobel Laureates (through video conference) and leading Egyptian scientists (Science Café), including Dr. Magdi Yacoub. The event will also include a University Open Day which will connect researchers and society, exhibitions by school and college students, two signature science shows, mobile discovery center, as well as a mosaic of events on science and arts, science fiction, patents and IP, women in science, nurturing kid’s creativity, and science heritage.


All Festival activities are free and open to the public.
