Robert S. Kriger received his bachelor of arts in 1972 from University of Cape Town, South Africa and his Magister Artium in Modern English Literature [major], Protestant Theology (minor), Pedagogics (minor) in 1982 from Eberhard –Karls- University, Tuebingen, Germany. He was the acting deputy director ICSU regional office for Africa (April – December 2005).
He is currently the head of Systems , Policy & strategy unit ( NRF). He was the manager of International Science Liaison National Research foundation (NRF) from 1996 to 2004. He was also the director of Ethics & Policy Forum Vesper Society , Oakland / California , United States Of America ( 1994-1996),was the Programme Director [Studienleiter] 'One-World' Pedagogics , Evangelische Akademie Bad Boll, Federal Republic of Germany (1989 – 1994) , and was the chair of Education Faculty, Evangelische Akademie Bad Boll, Federal Republic of Germany (1990 – 1994).
